Freddy Went to heaven

Freddy went to Heaven yesterday morning. Laynee came and woke me up and said mom Freddy is floating on the top but his eyes are still open. Did he die. I went and looked and told her that he did go to Heaven. She helped me flush him down the toilet and I gave her a hug and she seems to be okay with it. She did say later on that day that she wish her fish was still alive but nothing else since then. Her teachers did tell me at the orientation that they do give fish and to only expect them to live for a few days to a weeks. So I was prepared.

Family Pet

Delaynee came home from preschool last Thursday the 19th with a fish. So we officially have our first pet. She named him Freddy. Matt reaction was he was really liking this preschool thing until they sent home fish! He said what do we do when the fish dies and we have a sad little girl. So we told her it may not live very long and that when it dies it goes to fish heaven. (preparing her for the worst). It has lived 4 days so far. Not bad for our first pet. The straw in the jar is not for drinking. we heard that if you blow bubbles into the water it helps put oxygen itno the water for the fish. (who knows if it is helping!)

All I want is my 2 front teeth...

Yes Delaynee has had her 2 bottom teeth loose for a few weeks now.
I thought maybe she hit her teeth on something to make them loose,
but no they were being pushed out. She just turned 5 in Dec a little early to be loosing teeth.
On thursday February 12th she came to me and said, "Mom I can see the bottom of my tooth."
I asked her if she wanted me to pull it and she said yes. I pulled it on the first try. She didn't even cry but was shocked by all the blood that came out with it. We rinsed her mouth out and then here is a picture of her missing a tooth. The next picture is on Wednesday February 18th showing how loose her other tooth is. It took her a few hours of stewing but she finally let me pull it out. I barely had to pull it came out so easy. As I was pulling that one out I noticed 2 little while heads of her new teeth coming threw. So I guess they were ready to come out.

The first tooth she left under her pillow for the ToothFairy. The ToothFairy couldn't find the tooth because it had fallen off her bed onto Callie's (bunkbeds). I told her that the Toothfairy said she could keep it becasue it was her first loose tooth. (Nice cover HUH!) The Tooth Fairy left her a Dollar. She was soooooo EXCITED in the morning. She came to show me her CASH as she calls it. What a cutie! And then 6 days later she got another Dollar with her second tooth. (Again the ToothFairy couldn't find her tooth so she got to keep that one also.) She loves getting CASH! She has to show everyone her teeth and the whole in her mouth. Now Callie goes around saying, " Mom I have a loose tooth when I'm 5 and when it comes out it will get money too." She wants to as big as her sister. They grow up way to fast!!!!
