HAPPY HALLOWEEN!

The girls could not wait for Halloween. For months they have been waiting to were their costumes. So for Halloween we found a Fairy and a Fish (Nemo). Delaynee is such a Princess and Callie is quite the little animal! Too precious for words. We went to our ward trunker treat part.

Then we went to our cousins house for a party in their back yard.

The party was full of Fun and games and food!

Pin the eye on the mummy...

Try to hit the spider that would not die... Even the adults got a shot at it and it would not break... finally we did get the candy out...Yeh!

Toss the pumpkin which Delayanee WON!!! YAH!

Little Dex enjoying his sucker and Delaynee, Callie, Ashley, and Reed going for a ride in the wagon. What a fun evening!
But on the way home we were informed by Delaynee that next year she wants to go trick or treating. She feels like she missed out. But of course she had a bucket full of candy so we didn't need to go house to house. I guess that was the part that she likes. So next year I guess we trick or treat!

A MODEL ON THE RISE!!!

Delaynee Loves to pose for the camera. She is such a cutie! Watch out world her she comes!!!
Pictures taken while up camping. Photos taken by Matt (her dad)

Camping with Cousins

We went camping up by Mormon Grove just west of Mt. Ord going up the Beeline Hwy. This is one of our favorite camping places. We went with my cousin Stefanie and her family.
Here are all of the kids. Isaac, Delaynee, Matthew then Kayla and Callie on Matt's lap riding the 3 wheeler.

Callie was a grump in the morning. Here she is climbing out of the tent. Of course she was yelling at us to come and get her. What a cute ray of SUNSHINE!!!

Here is a video of Matt and the girls riding on the 3 wheeler. They loved every minute of it. At the end I almost dropped the camera. My bad!

We found a Trianchula(?)! Ewh!!! The kids thought it was cool and then Matt ran over it with the 3 wheeler. Here is a video of it trying to run away. Ewh, EWH, and EWH!!!

Thank goodness we didn't find this the night before!! We love to camp and had tons of fun! The kids I think enjoyed it the most and got way dirty.

We were not up there very long before most of the kids looked like Isaac.
Face covered in dirt. I only managed to get a picture of him thought.

Preparing Wisley

Hey everyone,

There is this really cool store to help you with food storage. It is right next to Desert Book on Mesa Dr. They are very friendly and knowledgeable about food storage and have good prices. I have been buying stuff from there for about a month now and will continue to buy from them. Check out their website http://www.preparingwisely.com/ or it is on the side bar of my favorite sites.

I have been feeling lately that I really need to get our food storage together. In the past 6 months or so I have tried to get a lot of what we would need. Now we will be using our food storage for the next few month as we have decided to put all of our extra money to wards getting some of our debt gone and we can do this because I stocked up earlier. I do believe what the prophets have been telling us for years that we need to get our years supply. Even though there is no famine yet it will come on day and will you be ready. I sure hope I will and I will do all I can to be ready.

If any of you no idea were to start or need some ideas please let me know and I would love to help you. Also the people at preparing wisely will be glad to help. For they have helped me. Just know that you need to start somewhere and just do a little at a time and don't overwhelm yourself. Good Luck!

First Dental Appointment

This is Delaynee's 3rd time at the dentist and Callie's 1st time. Yes SHe is almost 3 and they usually don't recommend that you take them till they are about 4 but last time Delaynee went Callie wanted to get her teeth cleaned also. So I made the next 6 month appointment so the 2 girls could go together.

Delaynee did awsome of course. And they say that the first appointment they usually don't get to the teeth cleaning part but Callie was so coapperative that they went ahead and cleaned them. They said she was better than most 5 year olds that get their teeth cleaned. I just love Callie's faces. She is our ANGRY CHILD!!! Rarely is ever smiling in any pictures. Always good for a laugh:) Callie was loving the barbie glasses that they gave her to wear during the cleaning.

Some other Fun Pitures!!!

Sorry they are a little blurry. But it us hard to not be when you are moving.

Got Talent!

Well some of us do!!

Our ward had a Talent Show and we decided to participate. There are 3 videos of the acts that we did. Delaynee and her friend Rylee were the cutest. Delaynee is the fish(Nemo).

"Once upon a time, there were two little girls who were best friends and loved to dance . . .

Do you wonder what ever happened to those adorable dancers? Just 20 years later . . . ?"(Rylee's mom Trina and our friend Becki played Delaynee and Rylee)

And now that was cute! But for the finale you just have to see it to believe it!!! ( I am second from the left in the teal colored bell bottoms.) We had a Lot of Fun!

Rebuild

And then we finally started to rebuild.
Insulation in walls, drywall up, textured walls, painted walls and ceilings , tile down the hall and into the front room and kitchen. Then finally the cabinets and appliances were put in.
That is what the kitchen looked like when we moved in. No stove and no dishwasher. There was a sink and counter tops put in shortly after this picture was taken.
Her is the start of the Demolition took out all of the cupboards and appliances. We had to ripe out all of the old tile. The Matt started riping out walls and ceilings and it was a MESS!!! The girls and their boy cousins had fun helping tear out the tile and pound out the walls. It was fun!

Demolition Time

Here are some of the demolition that was done.

Our New Home

As most of you know we purchased a new house. We actually bought it the day after Thanksgiving. Then we gutted the place. Matt rewired the entire house and then he started riping out drywall. After about 3 weeks I thought we were starting to rebuild and then he tore down a few more walls and a few more and we ended up tearing out 95% of the walls. I thought it would never get done. We finally moved in on March 8th the day after my birthday. The house is still not finished but it is very livable and we love it.
